Print is power!
Posters have long been used for sending out a message to the masses to affect social or political change.
Take a look at propaganda posters from Vietnam and the Soviet Union, compare and contrast examples of both.Make a Venn diagram of the similarities and differences
I looked at the Vietnamese posters, which have clear lines but most of their colours are rather stark often with warm greens and yellows. The Soviet posters are different in that they have clear lines too. But this is more on the hard side. It is sharper in terms of colour. It prefers to use colours like red, black and white. I think that the Vietnamese posters are aesthetically over-impressed by the land. The Soviet aesthetic is more politically influenced.

We started learning how to print and I got involved in that. Firstly, you have to pull the opposite ends of the paper so that the paper doesn’t get indented. One of the most important things is to make sure you don’t pause when pushing the handle otherwise you will get an indentation.
