ART_Workshop W #1- Week2

2023.6.2 – 2023.10.2

Today we tried to make some panel paintings where the students would use each other as models already for a minute of improvised painting. The teacher also showed a lot of interesting techniques. He told us that the correct way to use ink and rollers is to hear the nice sound like bacon going down the frying pan.

This is my one-minute quick board drawing, where I use a pencil that slides across the paper and then the ink sticks to the paper because of the force to form a mirror-like drawing with a different texture. I chose a more exaggerated drawing method because it was only one minute.

He use mono type too. But focus in flower and plant. The line is very clearly it is a big different with Edgar Degas.

I watch the video to study how to make a mono type. The monotype can use to print anything by hand. It is relatively random and classic way in art.

According to Monoprint. Com the process of monoprinting and monotype printing is the same, but when doing monotypes the artist works on a clean and unetched plate; with monoprints, however, there is always a pattern or part of an image which is constantly repeated in each print.

I haven’t tried it yet, but at present I think I can try to use different texture paper.
